Republicans in the U.S. Senate announced on July 18, 2017, that they are postponing a vote on the Better Care Reconciliation Act due to a lack of votes. Senate Republicans now plan to focus on repealing certain ACA provisions with a two-year delay, but without a replacement plan, based on a budget reconciliation bill from 2015.
